Social World Peace Monitor Project
World peace is a complicated subject with many opinions on what it means and how to achieve it. This application was built to monitor social chatter and determine where we stood, at least from a social perspective, on world peace. It was initially concepted as a holiday-themed experience for Laughlin Constable, but ultimately became a stand alone story.
The app gleaned certain key words from Facebook, Twitter, and Google searches and spit out a percentage on how we were doing. Positive words added to and negative subtracted from, the overall score.
The social aspect of the project invited users to make a difference, at least in terms of the percentage, in a hopefully positive manner.
